Its good to allow users to add comments and to rate the articles on a website. The mxComment utility provides effective ratings and commenting.

It is free, it works well and it installs cleanly on Joomla 1.5 (although it is currently using legacy mode).

The legacy mode proved frustrating and I was getting a lot of Spam with mxComment. I've switched to jomComment as an alternative.

I still get some Spam but its much, much less (maybe 5 per month). Its a great comment utility and the only thing I would like that it does not provide is threading (where you can reply to specific comments).
